Winners of the DJ Pass and Ego Pass

The two extraordinary passes that Sonar put up for auction on eBay as part of its image campaign now have owners.

First, the two EGO Passes which give the winners 20 seconds on the screens of the main stages of Sonar Galicia and Sonar Barcelona and have been won by Mariokissme and Manel Rocher, respectively.

Mariokissme is a graphic artist from Malaga who lives and works in Barcelona. However, it will be in A Coruña, on the SonarClub stage, where he will be able to show off his work and the talent he possesses before the gaze of thousands for the 20 seconds that the EGO Pass allows him.

Manel Rocher is a chemical engineer and lives in the Pyrenees. But what defines this respectable 54-year-old family man more than anything else is his passion for music and his obsessive fascination for eBay auctions. When he saw the EGO Pass he didn't hesitate. The 20 seconds of glory on the SonarClub screen at Sónar Barelona are his.

Meanwhile, there is the DJ Pass.The eBay user who bid 6,000 euros to perform did not complete the purchase within the stipulated time. For this reason, the festival organisers have decided to grant this extraordinary honor to the elegant and distinguished Mr. Samaniego, art dealer and the salesman of the Sonar 2011 lot, the star of the festival's TV advertisement and of course, an expert on the history of Sónar. In the end, he will be responsible for the session on Friday June 17th, at 1:30 am on the new SonarCar stage at Sonar Barcelona. This will undoubtedly be the star-studded appearance and staging of Sonar's image, as occurs every year at Sonar by Night.
