On the boundaries of dubstep

This Berlin-based Briton is an unclassifiable artist working in the gap between adjacent scenes, without entirely fitting into either of them: somewhere close to dubstep but with a nod to techno. For example, his original mix-CD for Fabric was an unofficial Shackleton album full of his own unreleased material, showed that there is a lot more to him than that. The co-founder of Skull Disco, he has just launched his own new label (Woe To The Septic Heart), and smashes the dancefloor to pieces with high density basses, complex ritual percussions, hypnotic melodies and dub sensitivities.
