The men behind “Too Many Knobs” have been described as a hypothetical group formed by Talking Heads' David Byrne, Wayne Coyne of The Flaming Lips, plus The Rapture and Simian Mobile Disco. Leaving comparisons and references to one side, the group featuring Iago Martínez, Cuco Pino and Alex Mera creates simple electronic pop songs without beating about the bush, based on solid melodies and ecstatic choruses, rounded off with a sound that is as upbeat as it is rough at the edges.
